Year 2 Elm Shared Learning

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, R

Year 5 had a visit from Nigel Goulding, an Environmental Education Officer from Rochdale Council yesterday. The children took part in a workshop about recycling, learning about the importance of recycling with practical examples of how to recycle well at home. Cenotaph Visit

Year 6 took our school poppy wreath to Heywood Cenotaph this morning. We had the chance to share a poem and a prayer, observe a moment of silence and explore the grounds and monuments to better understand the stories behind Remembrance Day and those who lost their lives during conflicts around the world.
