3D Modelling

Pine and Juniper have been using the program 2design and make to create some of their own 3D models. We have investigated all the different functions of the program, planned a package to make for a chosen target audience and made our 3D models.

Separating Mixtures!

  Throughout the Autumn term, Year 5 Juniper and Pine have been working on a topic in Science called ‘Separating Mixtures’. #HelloYellow

Today we are celebrating Hello Yellow, we have focused on our 5 ways to well-being and completed some activities. We have moved our bodies, we have given money to charity, time to one another and ourselves and we have also connected with our minds, bodies and each other.  Just some of our well being ways! We have also enjoyed our colourful clothes today and some fun activities to celebrated today!

Self Portraits

Year 5 have been continuing our art topic by creating our own self portraits. The children spent the afternoon experimenting with different materials and techniques. They applied the knowledge and skills that they have worked on throughout the unit to create a mixed media self-portrait. The children used oil pastels, photographs, carbon copy paper, felt tips, pencil crayons and tracing paper to create their masterpieces. Next week we will complete our final pieces.
