We had lots of fun during sports day. In maths we completed a maths sports day mystery where we had to solve maths questions to gather clues to solve a sports day mystery. We also competed in lots of different races. Well done to Team 5 in our class who achieved the most points. Also a big well done to Hawthorn for beating the other Year 4 class overall!

We had a blast at our indoor sports day! From balancing to racing, keeping balloons in the air, and stacking cones—everyone joined in on the fun! Laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition made it a fun sports day! Well done Maple!

Year 1 had lots of fun on their school trip to the farm. We had a donkey ride, fed the donkeys , sheep and goats, met and held baby animals, watched the cows being milked and played on the park.
Unfortunately we were rained off the field but we have still had a great day for our sports day. We had a carousel of different sports activities to do and had a really fun morning. Here are some pictures of our morning
In Science this half-term, Year 2 have been learning about states of matter. This week we learnt what a mixture is. We then completed a mixture experiment to find out which substance (soap, washing up liquid or bubble bath) combined with water makes the best bubbles. We had lots of fun!
Although the weather stopped us having Sports Day outside we have still had lots of fun this morning completing it in the hall.
We had the best day at Smithills Farm for our school trip, we met lots of animals, rode a tractor, fed donkeys their breakfast, rode on some donkeys, held and stroked baby animals and watched cows get milked, we even got to play on the playground, we had so much fun and didn’t get too wet!
