The Gingerbread Man

This week and next week, we are reading the story, ‘The Gingerbread Man’. Reception have been designing their own gingerbread person this week. They have been creating their own life size gingerbread outside with chalk. They drew around themselves with a partner and then designed them on the floor.

VE Day Celebrations

Today, the whole school celebrated VE Day. We took part in an assembly, in which we learnt all about what VE Day is, what it was like during the war, and the reasons why we celebrate it and think about those who lost their lives. Linking project – a visit to Marland Hill

As part of an exciting collaborative project, Year 4 joined forces with pupils from Marland Hill and created masks through a special art and poetry initiative exploring identity, creativity, and connection. Year 4 Trip to the Science and Industry Museum, Manchester Year 4 had an exciting and educational trip to the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester! Breaking Barriers

Some children from Year 5 Pine and Juniper have had the opportunity to work with Breaking Barriers, a Rochdale-based, multidisciplinary production company this morning.
