This week Year 2 revised their knowledge of sentence types and suffixes through outdoor active lessons. NSPCC Number Day – Year 1 Oaks
Children in oaks loved the number fun lessons! We had an exciting few lessons outside where they had to jump over hurdles and find the answer to calculations. The children loved running round and working out these problems. Well done Oaks.

NSPCC Number Day Fun in Year 2
Today, the whole school celebrated NSPCC Number day by coming to school dressed as numbers and bringing a donation for the NSPCC. Forest school
During forest school, year 6 have been making rafts. Today we went down to the river at Queen’s Park to race our rafts. We had lots of fun and the children worked very well in their teams.

This week in forest school we have been using outdoor materials to make a cross. This is going to be part of a hall display for the Christian value – forgiveness.

Shelters at Forest School

Gardening Club
Children loved gardening club today and enjoyed researching which plants are able to grow in winter conditions. We then went up to the garden and tidied the garden.
