Yesterday Pine made some lovely Christingles. They thought about their preparation for the Christingle service in Church this morning and the meaning behind the different parts of the Christingle. Today in church they were absolutely amazing. They sung beautifully and really joined in with the actions for the song while singing. Well done everyone😊🎄
It was an exciting Challenge Day in Maple as we took part in the Operation Moonbase mission from Skills Builder. The children threw themselves into the task with brilliant enthusiasm and worked on all eight Skills Builder skills: listening, speaking, teamwork, leadership, problem solving, creativity, staying positive, and aiming high. Today we have been taking part in a Skills builder day- Operation Moonbase. We were set different challenges throughout the day using all of the different Skills Builders. We have had lots of fun creating our own society thinking carefully about which 4 people would go to Utopia and which buildings would be the most important. In the afternoon we worked together to prepare a presentation of our society to the rest of the class.
The children have taken part in various skills builder challenges! They have worked especially hard to create their own, impressive 3D models of what a society on Utopia may look like! Well done Year 3!

Today we have been working on improving our key skills by completing the skills builder challenge. Children were given different tasks throughout the day to work on problem solving, teamwork, adapting and speaking and listening.
