Reception have loved celebrating the coronation today. We have all been wearing red, white and blue, we have been making our own crowns, playing games and we even had a picnic together. It was lots of fun!

To celebrate the King’s coronation this weekend, Year 2 designed and made our own commemorative plates. We followed a tutorial on how to draw King Charles, then added our own designs.
Birch have been busy celebrating the Coronation today. We have had lots of fun learning about different Monarchs and their reigns. We have made crowns and a beautiful class collage to show our support to the new King.

During these discussions we teach our pupils the following important safety skills without giving explicit information or telling scary stories.
