Year 5 have made some fantastic calendars during art lessons this week. First we thought about warm and cool colours and which colours we associate with different seasons. We then used watercolour paints to create the backgrounds. After this we used lines and patterns to draw symbols of the seasons.
Tonight, Year 5 had their Christmas movie night. We had lots of fun watching ‘Christmas Chronicles’ whilst eating popcorn and drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows 😋

This afternoon, Year 5 Pine discussed our moon. We addressed misconceptions about the moon that are widely believed. We then went outdoors on a fact-finding mission and traded facts with each other.
