In our grammar lesson this week, Year 2 learnt how to use commas in a list. After learning about why we use commas, we first practiced sentences verbally by using ‘Kung Fu Punctuation’. We then worked in groups to complete sentences by adding lists, using dry macaroni as commas.

In Year one we have we reading ‘The way back home’ by Oliver Jeffers. We had an experience day to help us imagine what it must be like in space.
