Children in Need and Anti-bullying week

This week we have been talking about bullying, what it means and what to do if you feel you are being bullied. We watched an assembly explaining what bullying is and we made a pledge to stop bullying.  On a hand we wrote 5 people we feel we could speak to if we feel like we are being bullied. On Friday we all looked fantastic in our pyjamas or Pudsey outfits.

Perimeter

This week in Maths, Maple have been learning about Perimeter. We looked at different shapes and ran our fingers around the edges to understand what we meant by the distance around a shape. We calculated the perimeters of the different shapes we had drawn. We also set ourselves the challenge of drawing as many different shapes as we could with a perimeter of 12cm.
